Your Milan days are deliberately unhurried — time to recover from travel, explore the Navigli canals and the Brera neighborhood at your own pace, and let the city reveal itself.

Turin

Turin is Italy's most underestimated city — baroque and grand, with long covered arcades, wide boulevards, and a food culture that is quietly considered among the finest in the country. This is where vermouth was invented, where gianduja chocolate was born, and where the Slow Food movement began.

October is the city at its best: truffle season is underway, the harvest is in, and the energy of the Balon flea market fills a Sunday morning with treasure-hunting and theater in equal measure.

Lake Como

Como arrives like a change of key. After Milan's energy and Turin's grandeur, the lake settles everything down. Mountains rise from the water. October light falls at an angle that turns the surface silver.

Como is also Europe's silk capital — its manufacturers have produced fabric for Versace, Gucci, and the great luxury houses of Europe for generations. The Silk Museum tells that story from silkworm to finished fabric, with the weight of raw silk in your hands as the unexpected sensory revelation.

One full day is yours on the water. With a lake ferry day pass, you hop on and off at whichever villages call to you — the boat runs all day, the schedule is yours, and the only plan is to be on the water in October.

Milan — Final Day

October 16–17

The journey closes where it began. After Como, the group returns to Milan for one last night — a day to explore at your own pace, revisit a favorite street, browse the fashion district, or simply sit with a last espresso and watch the city move. The evening gathers everyone together one final time for a farewell dinner built around Milan's great gift to Italian cuisine: Risotto alla Milanese.

Departures are on the morning of October 17.
